Since our inception in 1974, Atlantic Plywood Corporation has prided itself on delivering the highest quality and best value to our customers. This philosophy has helped us grow into a regional industry leader, distributing a wide range of quality hardwood plywood, lumber, and panel products and solutions throughout the Eastern United States. As our many satisfied customers have come to know, Atlantic Plywood offers not only products and services you can depend on, but also a convenient, cost-effective partnership that will help your business grow. In January, 2018, Atlantic Plywood became a wholly owned subsidiary of Parksite, Inc.
Atlantic Plywood Corporation is the leading wholesale supplier of quality hardwood plywood and panel products on the East Coast. We provide an unparalleled selection of plywood and related building products to a variety of woodworking industries – from architectural millworkers and countertop manufacturers to cabinet-makers, kitchen and bath companies and point-of-purchase fixture manufacturers. Our goal is to provide large and small woodworkers with service, inventory, and knowledge from one source at a competitive price. We have worked toward this goal for over 40 years with a dedication to expanding our selection and services while utilizing the latest technologies to deliver the best in customer service.
Atlantic Plywood was founded in 1974 by Nick Cucci and Dave Larson with the idea that customers could get great service and the best in quality at a fair price with one phone call. Beginning with a small warehouse located in Woburn, Massachusetts, word started to spread and the company grew. Proudly we are now 10 branches strong with locations in Woburn, MA (1974), South Windsor, CT (1981), Albany, NY (1986), East Providence, RI (1988), Rochester, NY (1995), Carlstadt, NJ (2000), Westbrook, ME (2003), Royalton, VT (2010), Farmingdale, NY (2012), and Bolingbrook, IL (2019). Atlantic Plywood currently employs more than 200 people throughout these locations. In January, 2018, Atlantic Plywood became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Parksite, Inc.
Since our inception, we have been committed to providing the best possible service and quality to our customers while developing long term and mutually beneficial relationships. We also developed this same type of relationship with our vendors, and have developed strong partnerships with more than 200 industry-leaders to offer more than 50,000 SKUs. It is with this diverse product mix and commitment to your changing needs that makes us the preferred supplier in all of our markets. Our goal is to provide both large and small woodworkers with service, inventory, knowledge, and competitive pricing from one source.
Founded by two entrepreneurs in 1974, Atlantic Plywood became an employee-owned company (ESOP) in 2008. When entertaining the idea of being acquired, it was important to find a partner that supported the same values and goals established by our ESOP and we were fortunate to find that in Parksite, which became an ESOP in 1989. Atlantic Plywood and our employees became part of Parksite’s ESOP in 2018 when we became a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Parksite now has over 650 employee-owners and continues to build brands and revolutionize building practices. An ESOP allows each employee to transform into an associate owner who shares a vision and essential belief in doing the best they can for themselves and each other, all with a common vested interest in the company’s success. Parksite is actively involved in the ESOP Community and supports both the National ESOP Association and ESCA (S Corporations of America), to both promote and protect ESOPs for past, present and future generations.
