Established in 1998 to provide custom services for our customers, the Architectural Panel and Door Department at Atlantic Plywood produces a wide array of custom architectural panels for high-end residential projects, commercial applications, and the Marine industry. Our veneer offerings are second to none and no other supplier in the area can provide what we do.
From the finer grades of domestic species to the widely exotic, our suppliers buy direct from sources in Europe cutting out the middleman, and providing you with a higher quality product at a lower price.
We also can work with all specified veneer suppliers to meet the requests of architects and designers. We can supply you with a “live” sample of the log we will use to build your project to help show the architect or homeowner exactly what he or she will receive.
Atlantic Plywood offers full Blue-Print Matched projects, cut-to-size. Our passage door offerings can be sequenced into a wall project if the need is there. We can provide your panels with either solid wood internal bands or veneered edges- perfect for that high-end furniture or kitchen project. We can also provide custom conference table tops from a simple slab that you will construct, all the way to the point of full completion- including solid wood shaped edges, laser cut inlay designs, and complete custom finishing options.
We also offer a full range of custom-made sheet veneers including 10mil, 20mil, 2-ply Wood-on-Wood, Poly backed. We can even provide you with crossgrain sheets and panels with proper sanding.
Atlantic Plywood stocks all the popular core choices you may need for your project, including MDF, PBC, Medex, various NAUF type cores, to Fire Rated, enabling us to reduce lead time on your custom projects.
Working with industry-leading door manufacturers, we are able to provide custom sizes, a wide variety of species, short lead times, and many core options including fire-rated, lead-lined, and bullet-proof options. Accessory details like wood beads, metal, wood, and fusible-link louvers, astragals, and door and transom rabbets are available to complete your doors.
