Our Architectural Panel Program assists customers with customizing, assembling, and delivering high quality architectural panels and doors to their clients. Products include architectural doors, solid wood doors, custom entry doors, tabletops, wood panels for walls and ceilings, stair treads, and more. We can assist with all types of residential and commercial interior and exterior applications including hospitals, hotels, airports, libraries, schools, and offices.
At the heart of our program is Jim Mackey, Atlantic’s dedicated Architectural Panel Program Product Specialist. He will help throughout the entirety of your project from material selection to completion! With over 20 years of experience, Jim can do it all. He can do highly customized projects or offer suggestions on which wood works better inside or outside, or which wood looks best in certain applications.
This program also gives customers an alternative to what we sell in the warehouse. Not all items can be stocked so Jim steps in to do one-offs to get the exact materials needed for the project. He is dedicated to making sure everything is correct. Jim says,
“We want to make it once and we want to make it right!”
Jim will be there every step of the way to ensure that your panels are produced to your expectations and delivered on time.
Jim really enjoys his role as Architectural Panel Program Product Specialist because he always gets to do something different. A few unique projects stand out to him including a project in Tom Brady’s house when he lived in Boston, a plywood dance floor on top of a pool, and installing cherry plywood in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in New York. These types of projects are very exciting and what keeps Jim loving what he does!

How to get started?
Give Jim a call! First step is discussing the details of the project including size and type of plywood. Jim will give the best material options and provide a quote. Once a quote is approved, he will review drawings and paperwork for accuracy, then coordinate and track the project from manufacturing to shipment. If a question or issue arises during the process, Jim is there to step in ensuring a smooth project from start to finish!
