Titebond® and Franklin PVA Adhesives Now Available!

At APC, we have made it our mission to become a one-stop shop for building materials. This includes expanding our range of glue and adhesive options to deliver the most consistent, highest performing products to meet demands. We now stock the trusted names of Titebond®, and the family of Franklin Adhesives at all our locations to provide superior performance in wood assembly, solid edge, face gluing, engineered product lamination, finger jointing and more.

Franklin Adhesives is a leader in the Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) market, which makes it a reputable choice among homeowners and contractors. Some competitors buy their polymers and copolymers on the open market and only formulate or mix the final product. Franklin differentiates itself from other PVA adhesive suppliers by taking direct monomers from the oil industry and manufacturing them into polymers and copolymers. These polymers and copolymers are then mixed into PVA adhesive products that are sold ready to use.

Our information below will assist you in choosing the right product for your upcoming project!

Titebond® Melamine

Titebond® Melamine Glue is designed for bonding wood, particleboard, MDF and other porous layers to synthetic materials such as melamine, vinyl and HPL, as well as metals. Titebond® Melamine is a water-based adhesive that is nonflammable, has a low odor, dries clear and cleans up with water. Its thicker formula creates fewer runs and drips, so that you can complete precise assemblies more efficiently.

Titebond® Instant Bond Wood Adhesives

Titebond® Instant Bond Wood Adhesive is a two-part bonding system that only takes seconds to set and cure. Its strong, permanent bond is ideal for areas that are difficult to reach or clamp. Titebond® Instant Bond Adhesives are heat/solvent-resistant and versatile, just like their wood glue counterparts. Titebond® Instant Bond comes in two forms – thick and thin. The thick adhesive is ideal for miter joint applications and quick assembly of jigs and fixtures, while the thin adhesive is better suited for repairing hair line cracks, loose veneer edges and other small defects.
